Until You Look

It is a series rooted in cultural and historical symbolism, inspired by the ancient belief in the evil eye, which originated in Mesopotamia (modern-day Turkey). Each abstract piece captures a moment of inner emotion and spirit, conveyed through bold color and form. Although my artwork is based on hard-edge abstraction, the watchful gaze of the evil eye remains present. Often, I use different values of blue, my favorite color, in this series, representing growth, prosperity, and positive energy. These paintings invite viewers to look beyond the surface, where narrative and emotion quietly unfold.
